Could I've been more wrong?

Yep - thats me.. The guy with egg on his face this morning.. After watching most of the Habs-Bruins game last night it's obvious that I called that series completely wrong. Montreal played a much smarter, disciplined game than I expected and Boston came out flat. Marchand for Boston looked nervous out there - maybe he needs some pressbox time w/Seguin? For the leafs on fans here it comes as no surprise that Kaberle isn't exactly a stud in his own end. Carey Price looks composed and confident. If keeps this up it'll be JaroWho & possibly some Price stop signs sightings before long. I bet the cop cars in Montreal are scared. It was surprising for me to learn that Boston has given up the 2nd most shots since the all star break. That's not how to win in the postseason. Someone that really caught my attention was Plekanec - helluva game by him. The Montreal-Devils connection is in play once again this year w/Gionta & Gomez combined for both goals last night. Taking one on the road to steal home ice advantage is a huge for that team.

Ryan Miller - playoff shutout. Ho Hum. no big deal. didn't see much of that game but would like some feedback from you guys about that game. Philly stumbled into the postseason winning only 1 of their final 7 (or 8?) games. They gotta get that ship turned around and soon.

I tried to watch my Kings play the Sharks last night - made it through most of the first before the sandman caught up to me. Disappointing to me was that the Kings gave up a Heatly goal in the first minute & the Kings were really being outplayed. They were outshot something along the lines of 14-3 at one point in the first period. To wake & find out they forced OT was good to see - but they still lost. Pavelski continues to prove that he's the Joe that matters most in San Jose. When its crunch time San Jose would be wise to let Little Joe drive that bus - he's money when it matters most. One positive even though my Kings lost was the Newfie love. My fellow newf Ryan Clowe assisted on all 3 San Jose goals.. He's da b'ye that passes the puck & mucks it up in da corners.. Ok that was lame.. no more attempts pseudo Newfie folk songs.
